You Have One Job To Do Every Day.

You have one job to do every day.

And it’s easier and simpler than you think.

Here’s your task: when you wake up in the morning, don’t grab your phone. Don’t check your Facebook or Instagram. Stay away from your Snapchat.

Get up when your alarm goes off. Don’t waste any time. Don’t continuously reset your alarm for those extra few minutes of sleep. Instead, get up and establish your goals for the day.

What do you want to accomplish? What are you trying to do today?

Answer these questions. You need to focus on them as seriously as you will focus on your job later or your family in a few minutes.

Why?

Because you cannot have a good day without starting with a clear vision. You need to be sure of yourself and what you want, and you need to come up with strategies to obtain it. You cannot do this if you loaf around and waste time. You cannot do this if you kill your motivation with laziness or procrastination.

The same way that you cannot have a good day without a clear vision, you cannot have a good life without good days. The culmination of several good days is what makes a life worth lived, and you owe it to yourself to make good days. You owe it to your family. You owe it to your coworkers.

You are one piece of a larger social fabric, and your actions carry more weight than you may realize. You need to accept this responsibility and move forward in the best way possible.

So don’t reach for your phone when you wake up in the morning. Don’t start your day by seeing what everyone else is doing on social media. Avoid the parasites. Focus on yourself.

Once you do this, you will find that your life radically changes. You will find that you are inviting opportunity and eliminating problems. You will find that not only are you happier, but those around you are happier, as well. You will contribute more to your family and business. You will make a difference to those who need it.

It all starts with you.
